Family values instilled in the organization by our original President Charles Fremont Opie, continued by his son Fremont Opie Jr. and championed by his daughter Shirley Hedden who today serves on the Board as Director Emeritus. |

| Scott Hedden, became President in 1986. Under his leadership, the bank has grown from a single branch to six full service branches throughout Central Illinois. He attributes this success to several factors. “Heritage has a strong set of corporate values that demands customers be treated fairly, courteously and competently,” he says. “We care about our customers and community and believe in treating people the way we like to be treated.
