•  Small Business Checking Account
A non-interest bearing account with a minimum required daily balance of $100.00. This account is designed primarily for small or start-up businesses with very little activity.
•  Basic Business Checking Account
A non-interest bearing account with a minimum required daily balance of $500.00. This account is designed primarily for small businesses with moderate activity.
•  Commercial Checking Account
An account for businesses with larger volumes of deposit and check writing needs. Fees assessed for account activity may be avoided with an earnings allowance credit given for balances maintained in the account.
•  Community Checking Account
An account for non-profit, religious, and other organizations with moderate levels of deposit and check writing activity. The minimum required daily balance is $100.00 with the possibility of interest bearing if the account stays above $1,500.00.
•  Business Super Checking (NOW) Account
An interest bearing account available only to eligible businesses and organizations as defined by the IRS code. A minimum daily balance is required to avoid a monthly service fee. The interest rate and annual percentage yield depend on the daily balance.

Transaction Account
Guarantee Program
Heritage Bank of Central Illinois is participating in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all of our interest-bearing and noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.

On May 20, 2009, FDIC deposit insurance temporarily increased from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor through December 31, 2013
