History
The story of Heritage Bank begins in Trivoli. In the early 1900’s, this branch operated as the Bank of Trivoli, until it was sold to the organizers of the State Chartered Trivoli State Bank. The bank survived through the Great Depression, while many neighboring banks failed.
In June of 1968, the bank moved to its present location at the corner of Route 116 and Trivoli Avenue. In 1994, Trivoli Bankcorp, Inc., parent company of Trivoli State Bank, acquired the Hanna City State Bank and merged it with Trivoli State bank and changed the name to Heritage Bank of Central Illinois.
Giving Back
The staff at Trivoli participates in an annual Christmas Giving Tree, where they buy gifts for needy children in the Farmington School District. They are active participants in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and Farmington High School homecoming parade. In addition, they also donate to the Farmington Primary School Carnival and the Logan/Trivoli Fire District.
